Loop around Heart Lake and Mt Erie in the Anacortes Community Forest Lands. Views of Heart Lake, Rosario Strait, Whidbey Island, Deception Pass, Lakes Campbell and Erie as well as the south rock faces of Mt Erie.

Meet at 9:00 am at 4411 Orchard Ave in Anacortes. Directions to be sent in the Hello Hiker letter.

Travel through a mixed forest of fir, hemlock, cedar, maple and alder. Trails in the ACL number over 50 miles in 2200 acres. Many opportunites for winter hiking with elevation gain and views within 90 minutes of central Puget Sound without the crowds of the I-90 and US 2 corridors.
