Day Hike - Harstine Island to McMicken Island

NATURALIST HIKE. Hike an easy 1/2 mile through lush forest to the rocky Harstine Island beach. At low tide, hike another mile on the beach to the sandspit which will allow us to walk out to McMicken Island at low tide. We will have an amazing -3.9 low tide!

Registered participants will receive meeting time and place prior to the hike.

We will have an exceptionally low tide for this trip, which will make for an exciting time to explore the forest, the beach and the very low tide at McMicken Island.  You might want to bring rubber boots to explore the tide, and also binoculars.
