Meet at 9 AM Sunday at the entrance booth to the Ocean City State Park campground, reached from Hoquiam by heading west from US 101 onto SR 109, turning left onto SR 115 and right into Ocean City State Park.

This hike is part of the June 19-20 Ocean City State Park Car Camp involving hiking the Damon Point Loop on Saturday, camping Saturday night at Ocean City State Park and hiking the beach at Griffiths-Priday State Park on Sunday.  Registration for the car camp is by registering for both day hikes.  Anyone registering for one of the day hikes must also register for the other day hike and participate in the overnight at Ocean City State Park.  Compliance is monitored by requiring leader permission.  Five adjoining campsites have been reserved at Ocean City State Park.  There are portapotties at the Damon Point trailhead  and there are restrooms at Ocean City State Park and Griffiths-Priday State Park.  The campsite receipt serves as the parking pass at both trailheads and at the campsite.
