Meet at 9:30 AM at the Enumclaw Ranger Station, 450 Roosevelt Ave E (SR 410), Enumclaw.

We will consolidate cars at the ranger station, where no parking pass is required, and caravan from there to the trailhead, turning east onto SR 410 through Greenwater, left at Forest Service Road 70 and then right into the Greenwater Lakes trailhead parking lot.  The entire driving route is paved.  There are two restrooms at the parking lot, but none on the hiking route.

The 2.4 mile hike in is on a good trail with a fairly even grade through a forest canopy in the Greenwater River canyon, with four crossings of the river on footbridges, before reaching our lunch spot at the upper Greenwater Lake.  After lunch, we return by the same route.

On the drive home, we customarily have an optional ice cream stop at Wapiti Outdoors in Greenwater.
