Meet at 9:30 AM at the Enumclaw Ranger Station, 450 Roosevelt Ave E (SR 410), Enumclaw.
We will consolidate cars at the ranger station, where no parking pass is required, and caravan from there to the trailhead via SR 410, turning left onto Forest Road 70, a few miles past the town of Greenwater. Turn right into the Greenwater Lakes trailhead parking lot about 20 minutes past the start of the road. A Northwest Forest Pass or restrooms at the ranger station and the trailhead, but not on the hiking route. Following this hike, we customarily have an optional stop for huckleberry ice cream at Wapiti Outdoors in Greenwater, which under new ownership now has an expanded food menu. We are usually back to the cars around 2:30 PM and back to the ranger station around 4 PM. This hike has been popular with mushroom enthusiasts.
