9:00 AM at Gold Creek TH
This is the first trail run in a series of monthly strenuous conditioning runs being offered by the Kitsap Branch. The run will begin at the Gold Creek TH and continue to the top of Green Mtn. and back. Just over 1000' elevation gain and about 5 mi. round trip. Next the run will be to the top of Gold Mtn. and back to the Gold Creek TH. Slightly more elevation gain than the Green Mtn. loop in less than 5 mi. round trip. A great run to views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Puget Sound and Seattle. Gold Mtn. is the highest point and Green Mtn. is the second highest point on the Kitsap Peninsula.
