New Year hike with a pancake breakfast, served by the Back Country Horsemen of Washington Olympic Chapter. Donations are accepted for the breakfast to help pay for the food and clubs mission. Their mission keeps trails open and clean which benefit us all.

Plan on leaving the trailhead by 8:15 am. If you will be late, let me know please.

Hike the Gold Creek trail and then the Vista trail to the summit of Green Mountain. Then take the Wildcat trail to the Backcountry Horse camp for breakfast at about halfway of the total 9 mile distance and 2/3 of the elevation gain for the hike. After having some breakfast take the Beaver Pond trail to the Plummer trail and reconnecting back to the Gold Creek trail to get to the Gold Creek trailhead.

Meet at the Gold Creek Trailhead at 8:00 am.
