Day Hike - Green Mountain (Glacier Peak)

Green Mountain is interesting from bottom to top. Deep woods provide cool for forest plants and views of Glacier Peak and long switchbacks with meadows full of flowers dominate mid-hike. After a small tarn the trail steepens and the long grind to the lookout begins, but is worth it for the views of top and the alpine flowers.

145th street park and ride at 7 AM.

This classic mountain trail is one of the most diverse flower hikes around. This is a naturalist hike so we stop frequently for flowers, birds and butterflies to cross the trail. However, the top does beckon and at some point we must carry on with a hike. Sign up only if you are fit.
