This 8.5-mile strenuous hike with 3300 feet of elevation gain is on the short-list of Washington's all-time finest hikes, through broad meadows to a historic lookout with non-stop views including Glacier Peak.

We will plan to start at the trailhead at 10AM (a little later to avoid the worst of traffic).  Meeting time and place will be worked out once the group solidifies.

This hike involves a very steep climb, so participants need to be in very good condition with recent success on strenuous hikes or scrambles.  Contact the leader for permission to join.  More details will be provided as the date gets closer.  Families with fit experienced teens are very welcome.
