Day Hike - Green Lake (Mount Rainier)

this is a Mentored hike. Please contact mentored leader, Terri, regarding arrangements. We will carpool to trail head, hike along Carbon river then hike up to Ranger falls and Green lake. First 3 miles relatively flat, on a closed road, total elevation gain 1,300 ft. 10 miles RT.

We will meet at Martin Way park and ride for  6:30 am departure to arrive at trail head no latter than 8 am start. Second break/meet spot is Bonney lake Safeway at 7:30. Pre arrange carpooling in advance for smooth transitions.

First part of this hike is 3 miles of relatively flat trail followed by main elevation gain. 10 miles round trip, be prepared to go the distance with comfortable shoes and hiking poles recommended. Weather can be variable and always bring rain gear. Due to water, bug spray is advised.
