BWT 2014 course hiker's sign-up only 5/19 thru 6/12. Sign-up open to all club hiker's 6/13-6/19 for remaining spaces. We will hike at a social pace. Starting from the Carbon river entrance to Mt. Rainier NP, along this trail you get to see the devastation that the Carbon River can create, most recently in 2006 and 2008 when the old park road washed away in flooding. Wonderful old growth forest along destroyed road (one of the very best in the northwest) , Ranger Falls (4 star) and pristine Green Lake are the fine attractions on this trail.
