8:30-8:45am Grassy Knoll trailhead.
Directions: From Stevenson, head east on SR-14 for 3 miles (6 miles from Bridge of the Gods) turning left (N) onto Wind River Road. Proceed 4.1 miles and turn right just after Wind River Bridge onto Bear Creek Road. Follow this paved road then becoming gravel FR-6808 at 3.6 miles, and continue for additional 7.1 miles to unsigned junction. Turn left on FR-68, coming to another junction at 2.1 miles at Triangle Pass. Bear right (road 511) immediately to reach trailhead (elev 2800').
Minimum 3 persons for trip to go.
Bring lunch, 10-essentials, rain gear just in case. Cameras and wildflower guides recommended during bloom season.
We'll hike approx 6 miles rt including Grassy Knoll and beyond on a section of Big Huckleberry trail.
