Day Hike - Granite Mountain

Enjoy 360 degree views of Mt. Rainier, Stuart, Baker and many other peaks from the Granite Mountain lookout. This is a close-in conditioning hike with many rewards!

Meet at the Pratt Lake Trailhead at 9:00AM. Details will be sent prior to the trip.

This is a conditioning hike with minimal breaks except a lunch stop at the top. Please make sure that you have the fitness to complete the trip comfortably.  There will be some snow near the summit so you must be comfortable hiking on steep snow.  Spikes and poles will be required. 

If you have not been vaccinated or have not done similar difficulty hikes with the Mountaineers recently, please ask the leader for permission before signing up.
