Day Hike - Granite Lakes via Granite Creek
Giving a once remote hikers paradise more access, a new trailhead was finalized in 2017. This fairly strenuous hike aims to reach Granite Lakes from the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River and give a glimpse of why the Granite Creek Valley is worthy of revisiting.

If you are hoping for a ride you will have a better chance if you set your profile to "Open" and provide carpool information such as the area you live in and locations you can reach by transit to meet a driver.
This hike will be co-led with Cheri Solien.
Our plan is to reach Granite Lakes along an interesting winding trail with views on the way
The hike will be taken at a moderate average pace (av. 2 mph) and a good level of fitness and stamina is required as the trip will be over 8 miles long round trip and 2,800 ft gain.
Please contact the leader before registering if you have not recently done such a hike recently and have any doubt about your fitness and stamina to keep up. Also, if you are a fast hiker and feel 2 mph with several stops along the trail is going to be insufficient of a work-out for you please consider if this is a good trip for you!
Full details will be emailed as soon as the trip closes on July 17. In the interim please contact the leader with any questions:
