8:30 AM Tacoma at Tacoma Park-N-Ride
A great beginners hike to one of the loveliest alpine lakes in the area. We will be hiking past Pothole and Bertha May lakes through the beautiful forest below Osborne Moutain. The lakes are nestled at the base of the impressive granite outcroppings of Sawtooth Ridge. This is a social paced hike with lots of stops to take pictures, enjoy the forest scenery and view majestic Mt. Rainier to the north. Leisurely lunch at the lake. Meeting at 8:30 a.m., returning about 3:30 p.m.
