Day Hike - Grand Park (Mount Rainier)

Should be a great wildflower hike with views! We are using the "backdoor" route via Lake Eleanor.

Meet at Lake Eleanor trailhead at 9:00 a.m. (approx. 1 3/4 hours drive from downtown Seattle, not including traffic delays).

Our pace won't be fast, but will be steady.  Trail may have water on it, and possibly patches of snow.

Leader will be car-camping at Silver Springs Campground (USFS) the night before (July 19) and will have no cell coverage.  Campsite can be shared with one other vehicle and a tent.   If interested in camping, please contact leader.
