This hike can have very nice flowers when passing through Berkeley Park and in-between there and within Grand Park. Also a good hike to see marmots on. Some recent trip reports on wta.org indicate the flowers should be peaking about this time. In addition to the flowers there can be very nice views of the mountain. This hike is within Mount Rainier National Park, and out of the Sunrise area, so a National Park Pass or entrance fee will be required for each car. The hike is also in the rain shadow of the mountain. We will go at moderate stay together pace, but stop frequently enough to enjoy the sights along the way. Bring your camera for sure. Please e-mail if any questions. Looking forward to hiking with you!
