7:30AM at the south end of the Ash Way Park and Ride near Mill Creek. http://www.soundtransit.org/Rider-Guide/Ash-Way The drive from the park and ride to the Barlow Pass parking area is about 1 hour and 25 minutes.
The pace will be moderate and we will stop often to enjoy the views, take pictures, and/or take rest breaks. The rating for challenging is in anticipation of some steep, rocky sections of trail, as well as plenty of creek crossings. Though the pace itself will not necessarily be challenging, the trail itself is a challenge.
