Day Hike - Golden Gardens Park
Low Tide Beach Walk from Carkeek Park to Golden Gardens during one of the lowest tides of the year. We'll walk the neighborhoods to Carkeek Park, then walk on the beach to Golden Gardens and climb the stairs back to the start.

Caffe Fiore Sunset Hill, 3125 NW 85th St at 10:45AM, departing at 11:00AM
This is timed with one of the lowest tides of the year (-3.7' at 12:26pm) so we can walk on the beach between the parks. There is a lot of sea life and flora/fauna to observe including anemone, sea stars, eagles and heron. Although the tide will be out, there are still low-volume streams to cross and your shoes/feet will be entirely submerged in places. Please bring appropriate footwear.
This walk also involves stairs at the end, 272 steps climbing from the beach back to the start.
