8:30 AM at Golden Gardens Park, Ballard, far north end parking lot
Golden Gardens for the -3.3 tide on Monday 04 June 12. Low tide is at 1020 so we will meet in the parking lot at the far end at 0830. I'll plan on being there until noonish weather permitting. Folks might even want to get there earlier for a parking spot as it is likely that there will be a lot of school kids (buses) there. Recommend bringing a tripod with strong baggies on the feet (legs) to protect from salt water for the low tide work. A flash and polarizer are helpful, especially if we have bright sunshine. Overcast will be better, but I can't - yet - control the weather. Of course something to keep you dry, especially waterproof boots, the taller the better. Roofers knee pads are also a great asset and highly recommend them. Kneeling down on the exposed rocks can be stressful on the knees. Folks are welcome to contact me directly. However, we are moving to our new home the week of 21 May and I don't know when we will have internet back up after the 25th. I should be able to access my gmail account intermittently, but no promises. Cell will be available but right now we have just 1 bar service at the new house. If I don't answer it is likely that I didn't get the call but the phone generally records them as being missed and I do return calls. dcjohan@bm.net - down likely after 25 May dcjohanson@gmail.com - always up 206.789.1184 - Seatle 206.909.4748 - cell 360.297.4460 - Eglon (new home)
