- This is an affinity group hike for those in their 20s and 30s. Please only register if you are in your 20's-30's and looking to meet fellow young adults who enjoy hiking.

The route for this hike will take us along the Upper Elliott Trail on our way toward Goat Lake and then along the Lower Elliott Trail on the way back. At the lake we'll take a break and enjoy the view of an alpine overlooked by multiple peaks.
I last led this hike in 2019 and it is one of my favorites. The long trail has a gradual elevation gain which makes it very manageable. The lake itself is very pretty and worth a visit.
Prior to signing up for this hike, please take into account the following (many of these are repeated for emphasis):

Meet at 8:30 AM in Everett.
- The exact location will be provided in a pre-hike e-mail.
- As mentioned below, the parking lot and this can be a popular trail. This being a weekday hike should help with some of this but carpooling is strongly encouraged to reduce parking issues.
Trailhead: Goat Lake Trailhead
- Approximate time to/from meeting location: 1.5 hours each way not accounting for traffic (i.e. it'll be a long day)
- It's a small parking lot on a bumpy forest road. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
- Permits: Northwest Forest Pass or National Parks Pass
