Day Hike - Goat Lake (Monte Cristo)
A moderate, 10 mile hike with 1400 ft in elevation gain. Hike uphill along Elliott Creek through old growth forest, past cascades and McIntosh falls to reach a large alpine lake with views of Cadet Peak.

7:30 AM at Mariner Park and Ride - South Everett
The hike to Goat Lake begins along Elliott Creek that meanders in old growth forest. We will start on the upper trail and return along the lower trail. A good part of the elevation gain is just before the lake. The pace for this hike will be 2MPH.
