Day Hike - Goat Creek & Cathedral Falls

This trail is in the Mount Saint Helen National Monument and winds through old growth forest and foliage that survived the 1980 eruption. The easy trail of 5 miles round trip and 400 feet of elevation gain leads to the base of Cathedral Falls and then winds behind it. It's a perfect opportunity to get up close and personal with a plunging waterfall.

We will meet a hiker from Chehalis at the gas station next  to Spiffys on Hwy 12 at 8:45.   We will take a pit stop there.  We will be picking up Rich at his front yard on Hwy 12. 9:00.
I need one other person to drive.   The road to the trailhead is pretty pot holed so a low clearance car would not work.   Please contact me if you are able to drive to the trailhead.
The weather could be changing this weekend so be prepared for rain or shine.
