Latest in a series of hikes focusing on our biggest local landmark, Mt. Rainier. This trip includes two short-ish hikes and features fall color, alpine lakes, and up-close views of Tahoma. We will learn about the Tatoosh pluton, why the huckleberry leaves turn red in the fall, the Cascade Red Fox and identify some trees and plants.
