Day Hike - Geyser Valley

We will explore a beginning segment of the Elwha River route blazed by the Press Expedition in 1889.

We will carpool from Olympia/Shelton area.

This hike is part of a 2-day event which includes work at the Olympic National Park's (ONP) nursery, a presentation by ONP staff on the Elwha River dams history, car camping at the Altair campground in the ONP, and a hike on Saturday of the Geyser Valley.
