This hike promises to be melted early to the ridge and promises fabulous views almost from the beginning. But you really have to work for it! The trail switchbacks relentlessly along the creek, 4800' to the ridge in 7 miles. But oh the rewards! Views south across the Enchantments to Stuart and beyond to Rainier, and north to Glacier Peak, Bonanza Peak and the northern cascade crest. We will follow a steady pace and to complete the hike in a reasonable day participants will need to be in condition to move along briskly without a lot of rest stops. More info will be made available as the date approaches.
