***Welcome to Hiking Series***
Get yourself out and on the trails during the off season by joining the Tacoma Hiking and Backpacking Committee on a series of easy to moderate fall and winter hikes that are focused on beginners. Learn tips, tricks, and strategies from our experienced hike leaders that will help increase your confidence to get outside and enjoy yourself. Hikes will range from 4 to 6 miles in length and will be led at a slower pace that is perfect for beginning hikers. These trips will run from November 2021 through March 2022.

This hike is a wonderful historical hike that goes from Wilkeson to Carbonado and back.  We can discuss that history as we go!

THIS HIKE IS FOR VACCINATED HIKERS ONLY THOUGH.  Since it also is listed as a Leader's Permission required hike, please send a copy of your vaccination card with your request to hike.  (Block out all personal information except your name.)   Thank you for your understanding.

As with all my hikes in the winter, you need to be prepared for possible cancellation and/or change of hike site due to the weather.
