Meet at 9 AM at the small gravel parking lot next to the Foothills Trail on the south side of SR 410 where it bends north in Buckley.  It is  where SR 165 meets SR 410.

This is one of the most popular hikes in Mt. Rainier National Park, combining a spectacular  view from Tolmie Peak lookout with a picturesque lake and beautiful alpine meadows.  A Park pass or payment receipt must be displayed by each car parked at the trailhead at Mowich Lake.  We will stop at the Park entrance where a $25 admission fee may be paid for any car with no one in it with a Park pass.  During this stop we can use the restrooms located there.  There are also restrooms at a park and restaurants near the meeting place, and  near the trailhead.
