Eunice Lake and Tolmie Peak Lookout (E) (GT Mt. Rainier West #269) 6 mi. rt. Gain, 1200’ total in and out, including Tolmie Lookout. Moderate/slow-paced family hike, especially for children, in the northwest corner of Mount Rainier National Park. Eunice Lake is a good destination if you want an easy trip. While you enjoy the lake, the rest of the group will hike the 600-foot gain up to the lookout site on Tolmie Peak, with views of the northwest side of Rainier and everything else around.
