A workout with great views, wild country full of wild flowers and wildlife. Will cross Ingalls Creek twice. Bring Tevas or similar type of foot wear. Map GT Mtn Stuart #209 I just scouted this hike. Elevation gain is different from write-up, it is 2400' in and 2400' out. We cross Ingalls Creek the first time on logs but must wade the second crossing. Water is 1 1/2-2 feet deep and rocks are slippery. I recommend bringing poles as well as Tevas. Water currentis OK for crossing.
