4:30 PM - Trailhead. From the Maple Valley Highway, SR-169, or SE Petrovitsky Road, take 196th Avenue SE , then SE 183rd Street then right on to East Spring Lake Drive. Follow around the lake to the trailhead at the end of West Spring Lake Drive SE.

A short hike to a viewpoint. This is the Wednesday before Daylight Savings Time begins, so we are doing a short warm-up to kick start after-hours hiking. Bring a sack dinner and be prepared for mud.
