I'm looking forward to seeing any signs of spring on the lovely lowland trails of Cougar Mtn. Is the Indian plum or flowering currant starting to bud out or bloom? This is not a classic stop and go Naturalist hike but I do like to admire ferns, mosses and lichens as well. There will be multiple trails to choose from, with lunch likely to be at one of the viewpoints off the Shangri La trail.
