Day Hike - Duckabush River

A nice trail through woods, sometimes along with a river.

  • Pace: easy but intentional

We will meet at the Quilcene Ranger Station, located just south of Quilcene on Hwy 101, at 8:00 AM, and then proceed to the Duckabush River trailhead. A Northwest Forest Parking pass required for each vehicle.  I will be driving a dark-ish (maroon?) Toyota Tundra with canopy for identification.

Trip will initially open to Tacoma Branch Conditioning Hiking Students. Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers, based on availability, 7-10 days prior to date of the hike.

We will hike to Five Mile camp, have lunch and return.

We will also follow all current Covid 19 protocols. Car pooling with facial covering strongly encouraged.
