Meeting at Dupont Park and Ride at 7:00 a.m. or trailhead at 8:45. and beginning hike at 9:00 a.m. Duckabush road has some rough patches and potholes but they are manageable at slow speed.
This is a great winter hike. There are a number of stream crossings that will require waterproof boots and hiking poles to cross. We may encounter a log crossing or two. Water levels will depend on recent rainfall, so extra socks and a change of clothes for the ride home are recommended. We will also have an optional stop at Hoodsport Coffee Co. after the hike.
