10:00 AM at the Tidal trailhead. Driving south, if you see a sign for the heli-pad, this is the turn! If you arrive at the State Park, you've gone too far. Discover Pass required for parking. If you plan to dig for clams, you will need to purchase a license from Fish & Wildlife online; and bring a large bucket and small shovel. Please bring your campstove and lunch supplies since we will be cooking back at the picnic shelter afterwards.
Leaders will be camping the night before at Sites C116-118 at Dosewallips State Park and there is no cell phone coverage at the park.
If it's been a long time since you've camped; or you're considering backpacking later on, this is a great park to try out your gear.
