4:00 PM at Tibbets P&R
This will be my first posted hike with the Mountaineers. Steve LeBrun will be my mentor on this hike. Thanks Steve! The pace will be after hours, stretch our legs and get some exercise moderate. There will be limited stops. If the weather is good and everyone is agreeable we will spend some time on the balcony getting warmed by the sun. If not, we may turn around pretty quick. I have hiked this recently and there are no problems that I am aware of. The trail is very rocky, so good ankle support boots are recommended. The goal is to be done before dark, but please bring headlamps just in case. Let's meet at the Tibbet's P&R; in Issaquah at 4:00 PM across the street from the Transit Center. From I-90 take the 17th Av NW exit and proceed west turn left on Newport way and the the P&R; is on the right. We'll meet near the back of the lot by the porta-potty
