Meet at 10:30 AM at the trailhead parking lot on the south side of S. 200th St. at the traffic light at the bottom of the hill west of International Blvd (Pacific Highway S), reached by taking the S 200th St exit westbound from I-5.
No parking pass is required at the trailhead parking lot. There are nice men's and women's restrooms near the lunch spot and sometimes there is a portapotty at the trailhead. A convenient restroom stop enroute to the trailhead is at Angle Lake Park, at S 195th St on International Blvd. Either just before or after lunch there is the option to walk to the end of the Des Moines Pier, which offers a nice view up and down Puget Sound.
