Meet at 9 AM at the Enumclaw Ranger Station, 450 Roosevelt Ave E, Enumclaw.

Parking space is limited at the trailhead, so we will consolidate cars at the Enumclaw Ranger Station and caravan from there on SR 410, SR 123 and SR 12 to the Leech Lake trailhead at Whlte Pass, where each car must display a Northwest Forest Pass or National Park Pass.

The hike in to Sand Lake is entirely on the well-maintained Pacific Coast Trail and has a steady, gentle grade.

On the drive home, we will have the option for a refreshment stop  in Greenwater at either Wapiti Woolies or the Naches Tavern.
