This is a beautiful hike through old growth forest that ultimately reaches open meadows before Owyhigh Lakes. It is targeted as a Naturalists hike to appreciate trees, ferns, plants and mosses.

We will meet at the far north end of the 65th P&R under I-5 in Seattle and north of 65th at 7:00 am  

This is a beautiful hike on a well-graded trail that begins by dropping 400' from a small turnout south of Cayuse Pass to cross a series of creeks before climbing steadily through forests and then intermittent meadows until it reaches Owyhigh Lakes. The hike is described here:
