We'll meet at 10am at the North Beach parking lot inside the park's main entrance. A Discover Pass is required.

A figure eight loop starting at the North Beach parking lot, heading west to West Beach, then the north shore of Cranberry Lake, cross Hwy 20 to ascend Goose Rock from the south, finally descending to the northeast, crossing our path and passing under Hwy 20 to return to the starting point. See a little history of the CCC work during the Depression to create trails and structures in this gem of the PNW.

The climb up Goose Rock is a bit steep and poles might be appreciated. We'll plan for lunch at the summit if weather permits, otherwise, we might take advantage of one of the numerous picnic shelters scattered in the park.
