Dash Point State Park

Day Hike - Dash Point State Park

Come join me on a Sunday morning hike. This is a great 7 mile hike in a park within a city but the catch is: you do not even know you are in a city most of the time! You will get in a nice hike but it will likely end by noon or a little after so you will have the rest of the day to enjoy. :-)

  1. 8:30am in theSouth Federal Way Park and Ride; 901 S 348th St., Federal Way, WA, 98003. To get there just get off 142 Exit on I-5 and west on 348th St. for about 1 mile. This P&R is on your left.  But also Google Maps will take you right there.  We can than all caravan to the trailhead if all wish since it is a little hard to find it.  I will be there at around 8:15am in a Dark Gray Subaru.  The lot will be pretty empty so you should be able to see me.
  2. 8:50 to 9am at the trailhead that that I use for this hike; an intercity Federal Way Park called Dash Point Highlands Park at SW 326th St & SW 324th Pl, Federal Way, WA 98023.  You can put this in Google Maps and it will come up.

This is a surprisingly fun local intercity hike that we can have completed in the morning or early afternoon and then have the rest of the day free. Come hike with me this morning just to make the day start out right!
