Good bye summer, hello fall hike

COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers activity.
  • Strenuous
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 8.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,100 ft

Meet at the South Hill Park and Ride (94th St. SW & 104th St. E, Puyallup) at 7:00AM at the far west side of the parking lot.

I will also stop by the Enumclaw Rite-Aid parking lot for those coming from the north IF I have prior notice.

We will go as slow as the slowest person wants or needs to go.You may have been out hiking all summer but wonder if this is a good fit. I cannot make that call but I welcome people trying to stretch (reasonably) their limits.  This also means fast hikers may not appreciate the pace but all are welcome. Please allow the whole day so that slower folks have their chance and those who might like a summit nap / lounge can have their time. We're pretty mellow. Bring your lunch plenty of water and a camera for great pics if the weather is good. Lug soled hiking shoes are REQUIRED as are the 10 essentials. If you have questions, email me and I will try to answer them.

If you don't have a map, don't go out and buy one. I will have printed topo maps for each participant.
