Day Hike - Crystal Lakes (Mount Rainier)

CHS Tacoma July Hike. Trip will initially open to Tacoma Branch Conditioning Hiking Students. Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers, based on availability, 7-10 days prior to date of the hike. Yeah, 'short notice'

  • This is a Phase 2 trip. (Pierce country).
  • This trip is only open to those who live local (within 125 miles of Greenwater, WA.
  • The trip will be updated if County guidelines change in advance of the trip.

 This hike features an initial climb, followed by a more gradual climb through a forested area then opening up near the Alpine level, to a beautiful lake nestled in a glacial bowl. Bring your camera! I'll be bringing mine!

We will meet at the Puyallup/South Hill Park N Ride, near Hwy 512 and 94th Ave. E, at 7:30 AM, to meet and caravan to the trailhead. No parking pass required.
