Foothills Winter Conditioning Hike. This hike is not part of a course and is open to everyone.
Note we will NOT be starting at the Big Tree Ridge TH Newport Way , but instead at Harvey Manning Park in the Talus development.
We will hike various trails up past Tibbetts Marsh to Cougar Pass and then up to Anti-Aircraft Peak and its nice viewpoint of Lake Sammamish and Mt. Baker, then loop back down other trails.
We will be at a steady moderate pace with limited breaks, with the only more lengthy break being at the viewpoint of Lake Sammamish. Pace will be between 2 to 2.5 mph uphill depending on steepness, and 2.5 to 3 mph downhill.
Hike will go rain or shine, unless heavy/constant rain is forecasted.
