Day Hike - Copper Creek

**Reserved for 2025 Olympia Conditioning Hiking Series students through Tuesday, June 16th.** Beginning June 17th all other Mountaineers members may sign up for this trip. PLEASE READ ALL LEADER NOTES FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Pace: 1.75 - 2 mph

Only 2025 Olympia CHS students can register through June 16th, please ask for permission. If you are a Mountaineers hike leader from any branch, please email me for permission if you want to assist lead.

IMPORTANT: This forested trail is steep, rugged, and interesting. It has undergone much repair work over the past couple of years thanks to the Mt. Rose Trail Crew. Recent trip reports indicate that it is in good shape; however, it is demanding due to pretty consistent steepness.

1 - This hike is intended for CHS students who are ready for a more challenging adventure.

2 - Dogs or other companions are not permitted to accompany participants.

3 - Participants must carry all required gear, including 10 essentials and their food/water.

3 - Smoking is not allowed during the hike.
