We will hike from Crawford Oaks Trailhead up the ranch access road to the Vista Loop Trail junction. We will hike through the old homestead and the Crawford Ranch buildings before descending and hiking back along the ridgeline above the gorge to the trailhead to make a large loop.

Meet at the Crawford Oaks Trailhead at 10:30am Sunday. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TRAILHEAD IS JUST OVER 3 HOURS FROM OLYMPIA.
Drive I-84 east to Exit 87 for Dufur, Bend, and Highway 197. Turn left after exiting for the DMV-DOT, State Police and The Dalles Dam.
Drive 3.5 miles across The Dalles Bridge to the junction with Highway 14. Turn right here for Kennewick and merge.
Drive 3.7 miles east, passing Horsethief Butte, and turn left for the Columbia Hills State Park and the Crawford Oaks Trailhead.
Each car will need a discover pass. Consider carpooling due to the long distance and limited parking at the trailhead.
