Day Hike - Coal Mines Trail

A photography hike to explore and photograph the old Coal Mines Trail.

  • Pace: Extremely slow with long stops for photographs.

Coal Mines trail head, or an optional meeting place at the rest stop at Snoqualmie Pass. No permits required.

Meeting time and directions will be emailed to participants before the hike.

THIS IS NOT A HIKE, IT IS A PHOTOGRAPHY TRIP.  Expect to move at a very slow pace with stops for photographs. We will start at the memorial wall with names of people that lost their lives in the coal mines. There are multiple mine sites along the trail, along with interpretive signs, and mine tailings.
