Day Hike - Coal Creek Trail

Beautiful lowland hike for a cold winter day. This is a surprisingly secluded hike in a lovely valley in the heart of south Bellevue. There is a lot of history here as well of railroads, coal mining and bricks from clay. 9.2 miles. 1,500' gain

This is a very pleasant hike and easy access from the greater Seattle area. The current weather forecast is for a snow shower here and there.  If significant snow is on the roads the trip will be cancelled.  The trails could be slippery or have some snow.  Microspikes are recommended.
