Meet at 9:30 AM behind the holding pond in the far left corner of the Coal Creek YMCA parking lot, reached by taking Exit 10 from I-405, heading southeast on Coal Creek Parkway, turning left at SE 72nd Pl and left again onto Newcastle Golf Club Road.  The YMCA parking lot will be on your left after rounding a curve in the road.  Alternatively, take Exit 13 from I-90 and head south on Lakemont Blvd, which becomes Newcastle Golf Club Road, and find the YMCA on your right.

This is an opportunity to have a wilderness experience close to home while avoiding the snow that may be accumulating in the mountains.  No parking pass is required.  Restrooms are available at the meeting place, the lunch spot and at the halfway point between the two.  The YMCA has asked that we only park behind the holding pond in the back left corner of their parking lot.
