Continue for 2.1 miles on Forest Drive, then turn right onto Lakemont Boulevard. Continue on Lakemont Boulevard for 0.5 miles and turn left into the Red Town Trailhead parking lot.
Contact others on the roster to arrange carpooling. I can take up to three others with me.
This is a slow-paced hike for those who can't go very fast and/or need frequent rest breaks.
Full disclosure - I haven't hiked this trail, so it will be new to all of us. It's one of the hikes listed in Craig Romano's new Urban Hikes: Eastside guidebooks.
